FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS IT EVER TOO LATE TO LEARN TO PLAY THE PIANO?

If you want to play an instrument, it is definitely not your age holding you back. Adult brains are capable of learning new things at any point in their life. Adults bring motivation and dedication that a child may not have. It is all about having fun during the process.

Is Learning In Group Or Private Lessons Better For Beginners?

We encourage beginner piano students to first learn the basics of music and piano in our group piano lessons. These group classes are fun and interactive offering each student valuable social interaction.

HOW DO IT KNOW IF MY CHILD IS READY FOR LESSONS?

While there is no exact age to start lessons, a few factors come to mind: has your child expressed a desire to play an instrument, is your child eager to learn new things, how long is their attention span, and does your child move to music, sing often, and gravitate toward people making music. The important thing is to introduce them to music lessons in an age appropriate way that is fun.

You can also contact our school director to set up a time to evaluate the best option for your child.
